Our Babies

Hi, my name is Nicole. I am 31 years old, married to the most wonderful man of almost 6 years and originally from Michigan. We have lived in Texas for almost 7 years now, and I have to say that we are still not used to the heat!!
We have three wonderful pets. Lacey is our beautiful Weimaraner that we rescued from the SPCA over 4 years ago, Baxter is our Tabby cat who is also a rescue, and just this past November for my 31st Birthday, my wonderful husband surprised me with my very own Golden Puppy which we named Chloe! She is a handful but too darn cute!
Having pets is the most wonderful thing a person can have, as they provide 100% unconditional love and are always giving us something to smile about.
I have loved animals as long as I can remember and have always had pets. In June of 2004 I had to put down my cat of 14 years and it broke my heart. Pookie had been with me through some of the most important and life changing events of my life, and while it's so hard to go through life without him, I know he's in a better place.
He had been really sick with a feline version of Irritable Bowel Syndrome, and although we had things under control with steroid treatment for a while, he eventually was not even able to keep down his food. I had to make the hardest decision of my life, but I know it was the right one for Pookie. I will never forget my baby, and it's because of him and my love for animals that I decided to start a business doing something I love - taking care of and loving animals.
I am dedicating Pampered Paws Pet Sitting to Pookie, my beloved kitty who will never be forgotten.
